On November 11, 2024, the San Antonio Caballeros’ head coach, Hal Mumme, hosted an exciting meet and greet event at the historic Menger Hotel in downtown San Antonio, Texas. He was also accompanied by several Caballeros players, including quarterbacks Nate Hayden and Jeremy Hunt. The event drew a large crowd of enthusiastic fans, eager to meet the man behind the team’s innovative “Air Raid” offense.
The Menger Hotel, known for its rich history and prime location near the Alamo, provided a fitting backdrop for the gathering. Coach Mumme, a San Antonio native, took the opportunity to share his vision for the team and connect with the local community. He spoke passionately about the importance of building a strong bond between the team and its supporters, emphasizing the Caballeros’ commitment to excellence both on and off the field.

The San Antonio Caballeros, part of the new International Football Alliance (IFA) league, are set to kick off their inaugural season in June 2025. The team’s name, “Caballeros,” reflects a blend of Mexican culture and American spirit, symbolized by the team’s colors and logo.
Coach Mumme’s presence along with the players at the meet and greet was a testament to their dedication to the team and the city. His innovative offensive strategies and wealth of experience are expected to make a significant impact on the Caballeros’ performance in the upcoming season.
